Terms of service

1. General

These Terms of Service govern all sales and deliveries made through the website aquaromance.eu, operated by AquaRomance EU (“we”, “our”, “us”).
By placing an order, the customer (“you”) accepts these terms as the basis of the contractual relationship.

3. Products and Availability

All products shown on the website are offered subject to availability and may be custom-built to order. We reserve the right to modify technical specifications or discontinue models without prior notice.

4. Prices and Taxes

All prices are displayed in euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout. Customs duties or local taxes outside the EU are the buyer’s responsibility.

5. Order Process and Contract Formation

A binding contract is created when you complete the checkout process and receive an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders in case of suspected fraud or incorrect pricing.

6. Payment

Payment must be completed before production or shipment begins. Accepted payment methods: major credit/debit cards, SEPA bank transfer, and PayPal. See “Conditions of Payment” for details.

7. Delivery and Lead Times

Each unit is built to order. Typical production lead time: 3–4 weeks, plus 3–5 business days for EU delivery.
In case of delay, you will be notified by email.

8. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days of delivery without giving any reason.
Exceptions apply for custom-built or personalized products.

9. Warranty

All AquaRomance products include a 2-year statutory warranty. Warranty coverage and exclusions are detailed in our Warranty Policy.

10. Liability

We are liable only for damages resulting from intent or gross negligence. In no case shall our total liability exceed the value of the product purchased.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Belgium (or your country of registration).
The competent court shall be that of the seller’s registered office, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

12. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR)

The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform:

We are not obliged but may participate in such proceedings.

Conditions of Payment

  1. Accepted Methods: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express, PayPal, SEPA bank transfer, and Klarna (where available).

  2. Timing: For made-to-order items, payment in full is required before production.

  3. Secure Transactions: Payments are processed through certified PCI-DSS compliant providers.

  4. Currency: All transactions are in euros (€).

  5. Invoices: You will receive an electronic invoice via email once your order is confirmed.

  6. Late or Failed Payment: Production will not begin until payment is cleared. Orders not paid within 7 days may be automatically cancelled.

  7. Financing: If you select an installment plan (via Klarna/Alma), you agree to their independent credit terms.

  8. Refunds: Processed within 14 days after approved return or cancellation.
